The mission of Dandelion Pediatrics is to support families with pediatric care that feels both clinically sound and deeply human. We believe care should extend beyond addressing symptoms, it should provide clarity, reassurance, and partnership throughout every stage of childhood.
Dandelion Pediatrics was founded in response to the limitations of traditional pediatric care models, where families are often constrained by time pressures and fragmented communication. By stepping outside of the insurance-based system, the practice is able to focus on what matters most: being present, listening fully, and providing preventative guidance that supports the entire family.
Our ethos is centered on prevention, continuity, and trust. We aim to create a calm, supportive environment where families feel heard and confident in the care they receive.

Meet Dr. Shinawe Jimenez
A Physician and Educator
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Jimenez has spent more than 18 years teaching and mentoring residents, helping shape the next generation of pediatricians. She is frequently regarded as a trusted resource among medical professionals, reflecting her experience, clinical judgment, and commitment to patient-centered care.
Dr. Jimenez is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and remains actively engaged in advancing thoughtful, relationship-based pediatric care.
